Chennai through to IPL finals

Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Capitals to book their place in the finals of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Bowling first, Chennai restricted Delhi to 147 for 9 with four different bowlers taking two wickets each.

Their run chase was guided by twin half centuries by openers Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis.

In the end Chennai reached their target comfortably with six wickets in hand and an over to spare.

MS Dhoni's men will now play Mumbai Indians in Sunday's season final.
