Cricket: England beat Pakistan in Dubai to take T20 series

England have claimed the Twenty20 series against Pakistan with a thrilling three-run win in the second game in Dubai. The tourists batted first and finished on 172-8, with James Vince top-scoring with 38, and captain Jos Buttler hitting 33. Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, had the host’s best bowling figures with 3-15, which also made him the world’s highest wicket-taker in international T20’s on 86. When he then made his way to the crease, his side looked out of the contest, needing 53 runs off 20 deliveries. However, Afridi made a fight of it, scoring 24 off 8. Going into the last over, the hosts needed 11 for the win, but Chris Woakes limited them to 7, sealing the three-match series for England.
