Cricket: UAE impress in Asia Cup Pakistan loss

The UAE put in another impressive performance at the Asia Cup, as they went down to Pakistan by seven wickets. Batting first, Shaiman Anwar topped scored with 46 runs, as the UAE posted a total of 129 for their 20 overs. Captain, Amjad Javed, then tore through the top order of their illustrious opponents, taking three wickets off his first seven balls.However, Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal buckled in, and their unbeaten 114-run partnership eventually took the Full Member nation to victory. The UAE next face India on Thursday, whilst Pakistan take on Sri Lanka tomorrow.
