Jason Day has a six-shot lead going into the final days play at the BMW Championship. The Australian is on 20 under-par after carding a third round of 69, which included six birdies and four bogeys. Scott Piercy and Daniel Berger are tied for second on 14 under, whilst the world number one, Rory McIlroy, is one shot further back. Day, who won the most recent major, last month’s PGA Championship, will overtake the Northern Irishman at the top of the world rankings if he goes on to win in Chicago later on tonight.
