Novak Djokovic breezed into the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships defeating Russian Khachanov 6-2, 6-2 in 67 minutes.

He will next face third-seeded Frenchman Gael Monfils.

Monfils also had an easy route into the semi-finals by defeating Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-3 in an all-French clash.

Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas had a somewhat harder battle to oust Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

The last quarter-final saw Britain's Dan Evans send Russian Andrey Rublev packing in two sets 6-2, 7-6.

Today's semi-finals start at 5pm with Evans taking on Tsitsipas and at 7pm Djokovic faces Monfils at the Aviation Club.
