The Dubai T100 Triathlon World Championship final is set to take place on November 16-17 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, marking the completion of the world tour calendar’s inaugural season.

Sunrise Beach in Jumeirah has been announced as the new swim venue, while the bike segment will run through Meydan Racecourse and serve as a transition area for the race’s final leg. The run course will also take place around the Meydan area.

The 100 km challenge will start with a 2 km swim, followed by an 80 km bike ride, and finish with an 18 km run.

The sprint race includes a 750m swim, 20 km bike ride, and 5 km run.

Meanwhile, the Music Run is a 5 km race suitable for all ages and athletic abilities that includes high-energy music and ends with a festival, complete with entertainment and activities.

The weekend will also showcase a spectator-friendly elite race, which will serve as the grand finale of the seven-event global T100 Triathlon World Tour. The full elite field will be announced in the coming weeks and is expected to feature a lineup of Olympic champions, world champions, and fan-favourite pro triathletes in both the men’s and women’s divisions.

The event coincides with the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge, an initiative driven by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, to integrate physical activity into everyday life for the population and make Dubai one of the most active cities in the world.
