The first Emirati to participate in a Paralympic tournament will compete in the Doha 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships, which starts today. Thuraya Al Zaabi will join the javelin and shot put events in Qatar, hoping to secure a place in Rio next year. Zaabi first took part in the Paralympic Games in Beijing in 2008.
