England punish Afghanistan in final World Cup warm-up

England have thrashed Afghanistan in their final World Cup warm-up match.

The hosts bowled out the Afghans for just 160 and then chased down their target with nine wickets in hand.

Meanwhile, Australia got the better of Sri Lanka in their warm-up encounter at Southampton.

Usman Khawaja hit a stroke-filled 89 to guide the Aussies to a five-wicket victory.
