England are 400-3 at lunch on day four of the first Test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi. It’s in response to Pakistan’s impressive 523-8 declared. Alastair Cook passed the double century mark shortly before the end of the morning session, reaching 204. Joe Root made a half century from 84 deliveries, and is now on 76, on another day when the bowlers have struggled on a batting pitch.
