Federer, Nadal progress at Roland Garros

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are safely through to the fourth round of the French Open for a record 14th time.

The 37-year-old Swiss maestro beat Casper Ruud in straight sets while Nadal got the better of David Goffin in four sets.

The two are on course to meet in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile Johanna Konta has became the first British female tennis player since 1983 to reach the last 16 at Roland Garros.

She thrashed Slovakia's Viktoria Kuzmova in three sets on the new Court Simonne Mathieu.
