First tribunal hearing today for Eva Carneiro’s dismissal case

Chelsea first-team doctor Eva Carneiro attends to Gary Cahill of Chelsea who suffered a bloody nose following scoring the goal which tied the game 2-2 during the International Champions Cup match between Barcelona and Chelsea at FedExField on July 28, 201

The first tribunal hearing for Eva Carneiro’s constructive dismissal claim is taking place today. The former Chelsea Football Club team doctor was relieved of first-team duties, following criticism by then-manager Jose Mourinho for going onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard on the opening day of the season. Carneiro ended up leaving the club in September last year. Today’s proceedings will put in place a timetable for the case with the hearing expected in June.
