Golf's newest superstar excited to make Abu Dhabi bow

Jordan Spieth can’t wait to get his first Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship underway on Thursday morning, calling it 'one of the best tournaments in the world.' The world No1 makes his debut in the Middle East this weekend after kicking off 2016 with a comprehensive victory in Hawaii. Spieth is the man the majority of fans flocking to The National Course want to see after catapulting himself to the top of the game's world rankings with a near faultless 2015. The Texan native won two Majors and the FedEx Cup last year, picking up over $20million in prize money in the process. And speaking on the eve of the tournament, Spieth is excited to get started after hearing nothing but good things about the course from US compatriot Rickie Fowler. "This is not only one of the biggest and best events of the year field wise, it's also one of the largest European Tour events," said Spieth.
