Padraig Harrington is on top of the leaderboard after the opening round of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.

The Irishman is on seven under par, one shot clear of South Africa’s Zander Lombard going in to Saturday's second round.

Dubai Eye 103.8 presenter Mark Lloyd is at the stunning Lahinch Golf Club in County Clare.

He caught up with eight-time European Tour winner Des Smyth at the end of the first round, who told him more about the venue for this week’s tournament.
