Illness can’t hold back Balooshi

Mohammed Balooshi had another impressive day at the FIM Cross Country Rally World Championship in Morocco – despite being ill. Whilst suffering from a virus, the Emirati racer climbed six positions on the third day of the final round, to move to 12th in the overall classification, The multiple motocross champion admitted he found it hard to focus, but kept repeating to himself “I have to finish”. It’s not the first time Balooshi’s determination to complete a race has been on show – during a rally in Egypt in May, he pushed his bike through the Sahara desert for 5 kilometres to the finish line.
