India and Sri Lanka meet in final T20 clash

PUNIT PARANJPE / AFP

India and Sri Lanka are gearing up for the third and final Twenty20 International, which will be played in Pune on Friday.

Virat Kohli’s men have a 1-0 lead in the series after winning the second game in Indore by seven wickets, while the opener in Guwahati was washed out due to rain.

Sri Lanka will be looking for a consolation win but they will be playing without all-rounder Isuru Udana, who is out with an injury.

Veteran Angelo Mathews is a strong contender to replace Udana.

The match is scheduled to start at 5:30 pm UAE time.
