India crush UAE by 9 wickets in Asia Cup

The UAE have ended their Asia Cup Twenty20 campaign on a losing note to India. They suffered a 9-wicket defeat in a league match, played in Dhaka. Defending a low score of 81-9, the UAE lost the game with 59 balls remaining. Shaiman Anwar top-scored with 43 runs, while Rohan Mustafa was the only other batsman to register double figures (11). Opener Rohit Sharma struck 39 runs off 28 balls for India, while Yuvraj Singh scored an unbeaten 25. India remain unbeaten in the competition and will face hosts Bangladesh in the final on Sunday. Meanwhile, the league phase of the tournament will end with Pakistan facing Sri Lanka on Friday.
