India, West Indies register World Cup warm-up wins

India thrashed Bangladesh by 95 runs in their World Cup warm-up game in Cardiff.

KL Rahul (108) and MS Dhoni (113) struck centuries to help India post a challenging total of 359 for 7.

In reply, Bangladesh were dismissed for 264 in 49.3 overs. Mushfiqur Rahim (90) was their top scorer, while opener Liton Das hit 73. 

Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets each for India.

Elsewhere, West Indies defeated New Zealand by 91 runs in Bristol in another high-scoring encounter.

A century by Shai Hope (101) and half-centuries by Andre Russell (54) and Evin Lewis (50) helped the Caribbean side score 421 after being asked to bat first.

Chasing the mammoth total, the Black Caps lost early wickets and were eventually all out for 330 in 47.2 overs.
