Indian cricketer Amit Mishra has been summoned by police for allegedly assaulting a woman in a hotel room in Bengaluru. The 32-year-old spin-bowler is facing a criminal charge and will have to appear before the investigating officer within a week. The woman has accused Mishra of attacking her with a kettle at a luxury hotel on September 25. He is part of the Indian squad for the ongoing one-day home series against South Africa.
