IPL 2020: KKR leave Hyderabad in eighth after bottom-of-the-table clash

In Saturday night's Indian Premier League game, the two lowest-placed teams fought it out at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi for some much-needed points.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat, putting on 142/4 wickets, helped by Manish Pandey's top score of 51 from 38 balls.

Kolkata Knight Riders took to the crease second, working steadily towards their target, reaching 145 for three wickets with 12 balls remaining.

Shubman Gill was awarded player of the match for his 70 runs not out.

Kolkata move into fifth place on the table, while Hyderabad stay in eighth.

Attention turns to Sharjah for Sunday's game between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab at 6pm.

Both teams will be full of confidence after big wins in the last game.
