James Anderson ruled out of Ashes

England fast bowler James Anderson has been ruled out of the Ashes.

It comes after he failed to recover from a recurring calf injury.

He bowled only four overs in the first Test and the went on to miss the next two.

Craig Overton has been named in England's 13-man squad for the fourth Test at Old Trafford, which starts on September.

The five match series is tied 1-1 with two matches to go.
