Laporta leads at halfway stage in Abu Dhabi

Francesco Laporta is on top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

The 29-year-old from Italy fired a stunning round of nine under par 63 to lead Matthew Fitzpatrick and Rafa Cabrera Bello by a shot going into Saturday's third round. 

Meanwhile world number one Brooks Koepka struggled to a three over par 75 to sit seven shots off the pace.
