Liverpool are back on top of the English Premier League table after a thrilling win over Newcastle.

Divock Origi scored a late winner to give the Reds a 3-2 victory in their penultimate match of the season.

The result ensures that the title race will go to the final game with Manchester City needing to beat Leicester City on Monday to retain their advantage.

Origi came off the bench for Mohamed Salah, who was taken off on a stretcher after being involved in a nasty collision with goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Elsewhere, Tottenham missed an opportunity to guarantee themselves a Champions League spot after losing to Bournemouth.

Spurs were reduced to nine-men with Son Heung-min and Juan Foyth getting straight reds.

The final round of Premier League matches will be played on Sunday, May 12.
