Liverpool were held to a goalless draw at home in their Champions League last-16 first-leg draw against Bayern Munich.

The hosts wasted a series of chances with Sadio Mane and Joel Matip failing to convert from close range.

The second leg will be played at the Allianz Arena in Germany on March 13.

Meanwhile, Barcelona also shared a goalless draw at Lyon.

The Catalan side could not find the back of the net with the 25 shots they managed. The return leg will be contested at the Nou Camp on March 13.
