Liverpool host Norwich, City face West Ham in EPL openers

European champions Liverpool will kick-off the 2019/20 English Premier League at home to last year's Championship winners Norwich on August 9.

Manchester City will begin the defence of their crown against West Ham the following day, while arguably the stand-out fixture of the opening weekend sees Manchester United host Chelsea on Sunday.

Aston Villa mark their return to the top flight with a trip to Champions League runners-up Tottenham Hotspur, while fellow newcomers Sheffield United go to Bournemouth.
