Lombard on top at Dubai Duty Free Irish Open

Zander Lombard is on top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. 

The South African is on nine under par, one shot ahead of England’s Eddie Pepperell.

Dubai Eye 103.8 presenter Mark Lloyd is at the breathtaking Lahinch Golf Club in County Clare this week.

He caught up with eight-time European Tour winner Des Smyth, who told him that conditions were tougher on day two than they were during the opening round.
