Manchester City have once again failed to advance beyond the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Pep Guardiola's men were knocked out after a 3-1 defeat to Lyon in Lisbon.
A 24th-minute goal from Maxwel Cornet and two late goals from Moussa Dembele (79', 87') helped the French side set up a semifinal clash with Bayern Munich on August 19.
Kevin De Bruyne scored City's only goal in the 69th minute.
For the first time since 1990/91, and for the first time in the Champions League era, the semifinal stage will not feature any team from England, Spain or Italy.
It's also the third consecutive season that City have been eliminated in the competition's quarterfinal stage.
