Pep Guardiola’s side are now eight points behind leaders Liverpool.

Crystal Palace have climbed to fifth with a 1-0 win at home to Bournemouth in the other game played on Tuesday.

Tonight, Liverpool take on Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho returns to Old Trafford with his new club Tottenham, while Watford face a trip to in-form Leicester.

In other games, Chelsea host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, Southampton face Norwich, and Wolves go up against West Ham.
