Glenn Maxwell's half-century was vital in guiding Royal Challengers Bangalore to victory over Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets on Wednesday.

The two sides clashed at Dubai International Stadium, as RCB chased down a target of 150 runs in 17.1 overs.

Captain Virat Kohli slogged three fours before being run out, but Glenn Maxwell and Srikar Bharat established a steady flow of runs with their 69-run partnership to ensure a comfortable win.

Besides their outstanding batting display, their stellar bowling was equally essential in their win.

Yuzvnedra Chahal picked up two wickets, while Harshal Patel was on a roll as he dismissed Riyan Parag, Chris Morris and Chetan Sakariya, restricting RR to 149/9.

RCB's Glenn Maxwell won the 'Super Striker of the Match' award, while spinner Yuzvnedra Chahal was declared 'Man of the Match'.
