Two-time Omega Dubai Desert Classic winner Rory McIlroy says courses on the European Tour are too easy.

The four-time major champion made the comments after finishing just inside the top 30 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with a final score of 15 under par.

McIlroy said playing on tougher courses would better "reward" good golf.

Frenchman Victor Perez ended up winning the tournament with a score 22 under par.
