Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero have been included in Argentina’s preliminary squad for the Copa America.

PSG winger Angel Di Maria has also been named in the 33-man team but there’s no place for striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is on loan at Chelsea from Juventus.

The list has to be trimmed to 23 players next week ahead of the tournament, which begins on June 14 in Brazil.

Argentina have not won any major international tournament since 1993, and have lost the Copa America final in four of the last five editions.
