Messi banned for 3 months from international football

NELSON ALMEIDA / AFP

Lionel Messi has been banned from international football for three months.

It comes after the Argentina captain accused the Copa America of being "corrupt".

Messi was sent off in Argentina's 2-1 third-place play-off win over Chile.

However he later said the "cup was fixed for Brazil".
