NBA legend Michael Jordan has pledged AED 367 million to groups fighting "ingrained racism" and social justice.

The donation will be made over a 10-year period by him and his Jordan Brand.

The move follows protests in the US and globally following the death of an unarmed black man George Floyd as he was restrained by police.

Jordan said he was "deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry".

"We have had enough," he added.
