Nadal eases through to semis in Montreal

Rafael Nadal got the better of Fabio Fognini to advance to the the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup.

The Spaniard, who is also the defending champion, overcame a slow start to beat the Italian  2-6 6-1 6-2 in Montreal.

He'll now play wither Gael Monfils or Roberto Bautista Agut in the final four.

The other semi-final features Daniil Medvedev and Karen Khachanov, both of whom are from Russia.
