Rafael Nadal has stormed into the semi-finals of the US Open after beating Argentina's Diego Schwartzman.

The 18-time Grand Slam winner, who is looking to win his fourth title at Flushing Meadows, was in imperious form as he won 6-4, 7-5, 6-2 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

He'll now play Matteo Berrettini in the final four after the Italian got the better of Gael Monfils in five sets.

Meanwhile, reigning Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships winner Belinda Bencic is through to her first Grand Slam semi-final at the US Open.

She beat Croatia's Donna Vekic in straight sets to book her place in the final four.

Bencic will now play Canada's Bianca Andreescu, who has become the first teenager to make it to the US Open semis since 2009 after she beat Elise Mertens.
