NBA: Fans pay AED100,000 to see Bryant’s last game

Basketball fans are shelling out $27,500 (AED100,000) to see Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant play his last game. The Lakers are hosting the Utah Jazz on Thursday morning. The Black Mamba has enjoyed two decades of basketball stardom, and ends his career as the third-highest scorer in NBA history. Meanwhile the Golden State Warriors are going for a record 73 wins, to surpass the Chicago Bulls’ in 1995-1996. They’re up against the Memphis Grizzlies in Oakland, with fans snapping up tickets being resold for $16,000 (AED 59,000).
