The New York Knicks first game under Kurt Rambis ended in a dramatic 111-108 defeat to the Washington Wizards. After the Wizard’s John Wall made four free throws in the final seven seconds, Langston Galloway’s 3-point attempt at the buzzer was just short of taking the game into overtime. Elsewhere, the Boston Celtics were edged out by the Milwaukee Bucks 112-111, and the San Antonio Spurs romped to a 119-101 win over the Miami Heat.
