New Zealand beat India by 18 runs to advance to the final of the Cricket World Cup.

After posting a modest score of 239-8, the Black Caps dismissed their opponents for 221 in 49.3 overs.

It was a dominant display from New Zealand’s bowlers who took regular wickets to reduce India to 92-6 in 30 overs.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul all managed to score just one run each.

Ravindra Jadeja (77) top-scored for India, while MS Dhoni contributed 50 runs.

Matt Henry (3-37) was the pick of the New Zealand bowlers. Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner took two wickets each.

Earlier, New Zealand added 28 runs in the remaining 23 balls of their innings after resuming play on Wednesday.

The semi-final clash was pushed to the reserve day after rain played spoilsport on Tuesday.

New Zealand will face either Australia or England in the final on Sunday.
