The hosts won the second match at Christchurch by eight wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 series lead.

Martin Guptill starred for the hosts once again, smashing his second consecutive century to help his side easily chase down their target of 227.

The third and final ODI will be played in Dunedin on Wednesday.
