Neymar hit with a ban

AFP

Uefa has given Neymar a three-match ban for insulting match officials.

The Paris St-Germain forward made the rude comments after they lost in their Champions League last-16 match to Manchester United.

A late penalty saw the Red Devils knock PSG out of the tournament.

Neymar took to Instagram to post about the spot kick that was given after a VAR, video assistant referee, review.

He wrote; "It's a disgrace. Four guys who know nothing about football watch a slow-motion replay in front of the television."

The Brazilian player will now miss half of next season's Champions League group stage.
