Pacquiao beats Thurman to claim WBA Super welterweight title

Manny Pacquiao has beaten Keith Thurman to claim the WBA Super welterweight title.

The Filipino boxer outpointed the previously undefeated Thurman in a split decision in Las Vegas.

The result denies the American his 30th straight win.

Meanwhile the 40-year-old Pacquiao could now face Britain's Amir Khan in bout in Saudi Arabia.
