Proteas fight, but India on top in second Test

PUNIT PARANJPE / AFP

India have secured a massive first innings lead of 326 after the third day of their second Test against South Africa at Pune.

Ravi Ashwin took four wickets as the hosts bowled out the Proteas for 275 after their lower order showed grit and fight to frustrate the Indians.

However it remains to be seen whether or not Virat Kohli will choose to enforce the follow-on.

The hosts lead the three match series 1-0 after winning the opening match last week.

Day four gets underway at 8:00 am UAE time on Sunday.
