Rahm leads WGC-Fedex St. Jude Invitational

2017 DP World Tour Championship winner Jon Rahm is on top of the leaderboard after the opening round of the World Golf Championships-Fedex St. Jude Invitational.

The Spaniard matched his career best round of 62 to lead five players including Bubba Watson and Hideki Matsuyama by three shots. 

Meanwhile two-time Omega Dubai Desert Classic winner Rory McIlroy finished on one under par, seven behind Rahm. 

The second round from Memphis Tennessee gets underway on Friday night.
