The Dubai Beach Polo Cup 2016 will be played under floodlight this evening after weather delayed the tournament. The world’s leading beach polo players and ponies will battle for top honours at Skydive Dubai, after bad weather forced organisers to move Friday’s qualifying matches to Saturday. Tournament organisers are now looking forward to holding the first ever ‘Super Sunday’ and are expecting a spectacle of night-time polo with entertainment including fire-eaters and horse shows to bring down the 2016 curtain. After a red carpet opening at 7 pm, the first polo match will trot into action at 8 pm.
