New Zealand have secured their place in the knockout stages of the Rugby World Cup. The All Blacks beat Georgia 43-10 in the first ever meeting between the sides, with tries from Julian Savea (3), Waisake Naholo, Dane Coles, Kieran Read and Malakai Fekitoa. Beka Tsiklauri gave the underdogs a moment to cherish by touching down to briefly level matters early on, as Georgia battled valiantly against the defending champions. So committed was their performance, in fact, that the man of the match was awarded to their flanker, Mamuka Gorgodze Meanwhile, the win continued New Zealand’s record of never having lost a group stage game at the World Cup, and equalled their previous best run of 10 straight wins in the tournament.
