Australia crushed Uruguay 45-10 at the Oita Stadium on Saturday to move top of World Cup Pool D.
Tevita Kuridrani and Dane Haylett-Petty finished with two tries each and Christian Lealiifano landed five of his seven shots at goal.
The match, however, was overshadowed by controversial refereeing decisions with Adam Coleman and loose forward Lukhan Salakaia-Loto yellow-carded in the first 28 minutes.
