Shabab Al Ahli Dubai into Round 16 of AFC Champions League

WAM

Shabab Al Ahli Dubai have progressed to the Round of 16 of AFC Champions League (West) from Group B.

It comes after the Asian Federal Confederation (AFC) took to their official website to announce that it considered "null and void" all matches played by Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia.

Al Hilal reportedly failed to name the required 13 players for their AFC Champions League (West) Group B match against the UAE side.

AFC added that under "special rules" issued during the pandemic the Saudi giants will not be able to take part in the tournament anymore.
