Sharjah beat Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC on penalties to win their first ever Arabian Gulf Super Cup.
The Arabian Gulf League (AGL) champions claimed a thrilling victory on Saturday night at the Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.
Spot-kicks were needed after both sides ended regulation play without scoring.
In the end it was Sharjah who won 4-3 on penalties after surviving for more than an hour with just 10 men.
