South Africa register comfortable win against England

South Africa have taken a 1-0 lead in their One-Day International series against England after a seven-wicket win in Cape Town.

Chasing a target of 259 runs, the hosts won the game with more than two overs to spare.

England scored 258-8 in their innings, with Joe Denly top-scoring with 87.

In response, South Africa captain Quinton de Kock hit 107 to help his team register a comfortable victory.

The second match takes place on Friday in Durban.
