Jordan Speith is golf’s new world number one. The American claimed the Tour Championship by four shots, to take him past Jason Day at the top of the standings. Day had himself replaced Rory McIlroy there just a week ago. Speith’s win in Atlanta also earned him the FedEx Cup, meaning the prize money he earned over the weekend totals almost AED 42 million.
