Spurs extend win record after defeating Monaco 4-1

Erik Lamela ensured Tottenham’s victory over Monaco by scoring the team’s first hat-trick in the first half. Tottenham are entering the knock out stage of the Europa League as group winners after thrashing Monaco 4-1. Despite starting without the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, the Spurs were able to extend their run of form to nine games unbeaten. Mauricio Pochettino’s side suffered only two defeats in their last 21 matches.
